An experienced member of the Bar, Howard is an accomplished, integrity-driven legal executive with 20+ years of ensuring business goals and legal compliance with employers and clients such as NBCUniversal, Comcast, Fox Television and new and emerging media companies. Accomplishments include:
• Served as General Counsel for NBC Cable Networks in time of massive industry transformation, supporting negotiation of $1B in incremental distribution deals, establishing new compliance and business ops structures.
• At Continental Cablevision led effort for favorable federal government regulation of first-gen, multi-billion-dollar broadband business, coordinating efforts on industry partnerships, marketing, and tech integration.
• Led outside legal work on content acquisition for launch of Verizon FiOS TV inside of global telecom giant, leading to millions of new subscribers and generating billion-dollar incremental revenue
• Directed and executed legal strategies for launch, operation and M&A for multiple linear TV, VOD, and digital media properties in verticals such as documentaries, ethnic media, parenting, and music.
